Why not turn it into a station wagon at the same time?
Sorry, I couldn't help myself.
That would really be an undertaking with a large cost attached.
I thought the value of SL's was higher in OZ, and if that is the case, why not sell it and buy another when you arrive in the US? I know you are attached to it but once it has been switched would it REALLY be the same car?
