Its not even B4 Armored. I have to admit that I have somewhat of a facination with Armored S class cars. This car is a bit over the top though. This one looks like its looking for trouble or for a gun fight rather than to escape like most armored cars are designed for. I think this guy watched "The Peacemaker" too many times.

I have looked at a couple of Armored S class cars in the past. They are always "low key". Most of them were not S600's but the smaller engined cars as performance was not as much of a requirement as was being able to protect the occupants. The older 126's had windows that were thick lexan with only the drivers side window being able to be rolled down. The newer 220 based cars you can't even tell they are armored. 20 years of technology certainly makes a big difference. BMW even sells a 7 series guard model which is a factory armored car. Mercedes does as well and many firms do aftermarket armoring of cars which can easily cost more than the car itself.

While it would be neat to own one of these cars there are a lot of complications as well. In some cases the armor plate and kevlar coatings can get in the way of parts that you need to get to during repairs.
