Is this an attempted extortion of an additional $30.00 or is he permitted to charge a pickup fee, with an amount of his choosing, without disclosing same in the auction?
The question is regarding the e-bay rules.......not whether you are in agreement with either myself or the seller.

I sell on eBay but always disclose any shipping info in my sale ahead of time. I also state "Local Pick-ups" welcomed with no extra charge, as they save me the trouble and expense of materials, packing, going to the post office, ect. I do state a time at my convenience, usually in the early evening. If some one isn't tryng to make his money on the shipping or hiding a poorly described product, I don't see why they should mind. Now some women sellers don't want strange guys showing up at their door and that I can understand if she doesn't permit local pick-ups.
