I was concerned the funny pistons would be a nightmare when/if carbon builds in the cup.
Not sure if it is the same 2.2 but I drove a euro civic w/ a 2.2 diesel and boy is it a nice motor...quiet (almost too quiet) and powerful.
Not sure on the source but the Mazda 2.0 (or2.2 I forget) diesel in the Mazda 5 w/ 6 speed was wonderful too.
