I suggest getting a screw in comp tester. You can get a cheap one from places like Kame Apart. It may not be very accurate, but it will give you an idea. A good tester will run about $150.00, but it isn't necessary. Pull all the plugs and ground the coil wire like the guy says. You can do this with the engine hot or cold. It isn't that important. Post the results here. If you lost only one cylinder that fast, I suspect a broken valve spring.
