Pretty rare on W202. Most common problem on W202's is the seatbelt engagement buckle. Next likely an SRS firing module for an individual bag, or a faulty bag, or more than one.
30 seconds with an SDS and you'll have the SRS light fault diagnosed. There is NO other way. Forget throwing parts at it, HUGE waste of money.
