From what I understand from my tech and others on this forum, this is one time you may want to stay away from the 'factory' parts. I understand that the blower supplied by the vendor to MB doesn't have that good a reputation for durability. If you are going to put out the $ for a conversion, These people are supposed to make a better unit http://www.kleemann.dk/arkiv/compressorframe.htm
They don't have distributers in the USA, but their site lists a number of places in Europe and Asia that carry their conversions. Good luck!
