Not sure on that. The iscan will perform "transport unprotection" and "adaptation coding".

From what I can tell the "activation" is performed with the "Green Key"

One very odd thing i found though:

Car refuses to start - no crank
I plug in the iscan and clear the codes - car starts right up
I can turn the car off for a minute or so and it will start right back up
HOWEVER, if I wait a couple of minutes - until the can goes to sleep - the car will not start unless the codes are reset again.

It really looks like one of the modules is putting bad data onto the can and causing the car not to start. I suspect it is the EIS but the code I am getting "C1026" refers to an Airmatic CAN communication failure..

Does anyone know where all the can busses are located? I found one under the dash and one in the drivers footwell. I think there is one more somewhere that has the Airmatic module on it.
