I have a '79 450SL. Gas spills out the back by the fuel cap when my gas tank is more than 1/2 full and I accelerate or turn left. So much spills out that I can see it on the road behind me. The cap is on tight and there are no apparent holes or cracks in the filler or vent tube. Got any ideas?
