they can run a bit higher than other similar vehicles due to the different gear ratios...someone else can elaborate on this a bit more...

my 300e is a 93 and has the 3.2 engine and my RPMs are around the 2600 or so range at 70 if i remember correctly...i'll have to double check that one though...
