the only time i left foot brake is if i begin to take off at say an intersection and need to brake really quickly. then the left foot comes out and brakes before my right foot could react.

it seems quicker than the right in this situation.

my 350sdl has the brake interlock thing and it only very occasionally is noticable.

switching gears while the car is moving will ruin a tranny quickly. this feature prevents that.

(obviously) you should never leave a car running with a child in it.
