Have you tried adjusting your emergency brake? It is easy. Just remove the rear wheels and look for the adjuster wheel through one of the lug bolt holes. It is a small spur wheel just like an old VW used.

Next time you do your brakes take apart the spur wheel assembly and clean and lube it lightly so it will self adjust.
