Help Techs! Need to recharge 2002 S600 A/C...
Hello techs...
My shop installed a new expansion block and drier in a 2002 S600. Problem is, "A/C Off" light is illuminated. The compressor temp pressure switch is sensing low pressure and wont kick on the compressor so we can put refrigerant in it. Alldata has a "reprogram" porocedure using the "STAR tool" to reset the values for the temp. pressure sensor in order to let the compressor engage. Is there any way to do this if we dont have the "STAR" diag. tool??? We are thinging about direct wiring the compressor to force it to come on. Any problems with this?
