Fortunately, the W114s don’t have the automatic climate control. Just a straight forward pair of valves on the fire wall for driver and passenger.

I lost the water pump and the thermostatic fan clutch was weak on my ’71 250C. Replacing both brought the temp to 175 nearly all the time.
