I had the head removed at 55K and now it is at 115K on the clock. That was in Jan of 05. Took out the GPs today and they were pretty good. I think the last time they were there for 6 years so it locked up without antisieze. The tips looked good. My impression is that it was corosion that did me in the last time. Some squeaking but no PB Blaster was used and the engine was stone cold. This time as last time, there didn't seem to be much carbon build up
