I can take a picture of the hole tomorrow, but I doubt it will show much. The threads don't look that bad. I have access to about anything I can get my hands on. When I rebuilt Allison automatic transmissions 15 years ago, we fixed hydraulic fitting threads with a Time insert if I remember right - using a heli-coil would let fluid past.
