You may want to repost this with a different subject line. I THINK the initials you're thinking of were "ASD?" And in caps? I suspect many people looked at the subject line and thought (as I did) you meant "Ads" as in advertisements . . .

I don't know the answer to your question, but my W124 has ASR III, which controls brakes and throttle, and was first available in '91 in the 560 SEL, I believe.
