i've been looking at this type of project for a long time and from what i can see the e-zest coversion is 240d drive line into a 107 car i think i'd go stick i know this will fit and its all bolt -up because the engine is so short it fits under the hood . i had planned to put a 617 engine in a 107 but the front of the valve cover did not clear the only other way to maybe get the hood to close would be to take an early 107 that has the old 115 chass. susp. in it and make spacers to sit on top of the sub frame mounts i'm not sure how much heigth you could gain there mite be enough this would also make the car sit a little higher in the frt.
