I have a 73 450sl and need to replace the antenna.
Unscrewing the small chrome nut and then turning the radio on should allow the nylon feeder tail to push its way out of the motor.
Mine does not not push its self out, the antenna will go up but even if I pull on it, it still will not release from the motor. What am I doing wrong? Thanks
