Hi Maroon,

Thanks for your response. Been there, done that re: the dieselgiant route.

I've had problems with locks malfunctioning and engine not shutting off normally. When I plugged the yellow vacuum lines in the engine to completely disengage the locks, the car shuts off normally. When I pull a vacuum on the yellow line with a mityvac and operate the driver's lock, the vacuum drops to 0 within .5 seconds.

However, mityvac testing all the clusters, the fuel door, and trunk lock actuators show nothing. I've removed the panels and tested the driver's door switch, etc. and the rear driver's side door and its' actuator. Guess I'll take the right door panels off now.

Am seriously considering at this point whether to take to stealership or disengage the locks completely. I've had at my indie twice now for this same problem, without resolution.
