I have taken off the vacuum hose to the IP, as I reported several posts back and it still won't start.

However, I will remove it again and check those lines again for fuel. Is there a way to totally disconnect the shutoff valve to check it?

Can I just pull back on the "stop" lever while someone tries to start it? Will that tell me if the cutoff is bad?
