Today i have changed the T ranmission oil along with its filter. The car now changes the gears like silk but still there is a delay in down shifting the gears with the excelator edal.

My Mec is saying that i have to change the fuel filter as i have not changed it for the last 40000 KM.

The question is that is it correct what my Mec is saying. As i also feel that wheni press the engine there is hardly any engine noise which usually comes while you press the excelerator pedal deep to the floor. Maybe the engine is starving with the fuel.
