The above post described exactly what was needed to remove the dash. I did not have to disconnect the emergency brake or hood to access the cruise control amplifier. Pretty darn simple, now on the repair/replacement of the cruise control amplifier. I will try the resolder on the pins on the board but I see a new amplifier is not very expensive so I have nothing to loose. Thanks again.
