Heck, for all we know the turbo could have been replaced due to a mis-diagnosis. And any bearing can fail at any time. Sometimes it's the luck of the draw.
As you read over this forum every night, you simply don't hear many turbo problems when it was the actual turbo.
You will find there are much bigger fish to fry. Now, how was that AC again.......
