Talking Rotory polish and picture

Hi all

Just wanted to share my excitement with you all as I've recently had my 129 professionally rotary polished and polymer sealed. I asked for the badge to be removed in preparation of my new 'SL 500' badge which I placed on the rear yesterday (will add a piccy latter).

The work consisted of:

1. Underneath steam clean
2. Engine clean (not steam) and panel lubrication (makes panels go a nice black)
3. Wash and wax
4. 4 x rotary polishes (apparently it took 4 attempts)
5. Scratches removed or touched in as and where necessary
6. Flat and polish rear bumper sides as upon last spray (when colour matched) they showed slight signs of 'orange peel' where the paint when a little 'dry'.
7. Polymer sealant

The result is truly awesome and has been one of the jobs well worth the money - cost 200GBP

Mind you, next time I may go for the Porter Cable orbital polisher as for around 200 I can do the polishing myself
