Hello,

Recently solved my a/c problem by jumpering a failed copper line in the pc board of my Climate control unit. Was feeling pretty good about things and then recently the a/c went haywire. A/c only works in defrost setting. In fact nothing else works with regard to the climate control buttons in any other setting (a/c or ec). Also, the tachometer won't work if those other buttons are selected. In addition, the fan will only work if the defrost button is selected. It seems to me that in my search before that there is a connection between the tach and the ccu (overvoltage protection relay?). Anyway, i've about decided to replace the ccu with a reman unit (gdl lab?). My question is, do you think that will solve the problem or is more troubleshooting indicated. I've been reviewing things on mbbraingears but not getting anywhere.
