THeres a way to jump the cables to test it.

The switch for the aux fan is on the rec/dryer, and it is temp activated. The temp of the freon closes the switch as I understand it, which completes the circuit to the aux fan.
If not enough freon, for example, you can't get the reaction/heat for aux fan activation.
Of course, I could be incredibly wrong......
