Wondering if someone could please tell me how possible it would be to do a straight out motor swap between a 1982 300DT (good engine) to a 1977 300D (motor losing compression). Wondering if it's possible to do this with just the engine only...and not using the turbo off the 1982...or if I would have to do engine/transmission swap on both.

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.
