Well let's think this through. Noise is related to RPM. Therefore it is coming from something that is rotating. There are a limited number of rotating pieces attached to the front of your engine. Air Pump, Alternator, A/C Compressor, Power Steering Pump, Water Pump, idler pulleys for the serpentine belt, and the fan.

Nobody on this list can diagnose a noise from a statement that there is a noise. So what to do?

Go to McParts and buy a $10.00 auto stethoscope. Start the car and have someone manipulate the throttle until they hear the noise. Now carefully proceed to place the probe against the various rotating components until you find the culprit.
