I honestly don't re-call and no time to go look for it. I have written with a Sharpy inside the case for the little inch pound torque wrench I bought on e-Bay for this task. I have probably done 6 to 8 transmission services on two different 300E's. No leaks at that setting. I would think 60 or 70 inch pounds is fine. Problems occur if you over tighten and bend the pan.
