All the the 1997-2001 Kompressor engines have a PCV valve & that causes the oil in the inter cooler & air mass sensor..cleaning does no good unless you replace that valve & 1 of the hoses going to the OIL separator..

You need MB part number 111-018-16-82 & 111-010-00-91

Then try cleaning again...if the engine is still balky then the air mass sensor is dead..
