I've recently had an issue with my e320. When the tranny shifted it has a delyed harsh engagement. MY check engine light was also on. The dealer (whom I don't always trust 100%) stated that I had an internal fault with the transmission control module. Replacement would be $864.00 parts and labor.

This sounds extreme in price. I'm also wondering if this is something that I could replace relatively easily.
