Engine number is on the drivers side. Just below the head, towards the rear, starts with 616. Once you find it, just take a rubbing of it with a soft pencil and paper. That way you won't mis-read any digits that might be hard to see. The 10 or 12 refers to manual or automatic. The last 6 digits are the actual serialized production number.
