i am not an expert on york comp. but i think it is a two cylinder jobbie. has pistons rods and a crankshaft pretty much like an engine. so i believe you can add oil to the crankcase. i would take the plug loose carefully and if it starts hissing tighten it up right away.

and go to plan b. ask some one who actually knows.
