I have to disagree. I think clothes are a necessary part of class. Could one still have class, and show up to an after six wedding in a pair of shorts and a Manchester United jersey (I have witnessed this).

Don't get me wrong--I am not saying 'class' is the best measure of a person, but clothing, bearing, carriage, posture, speach, ect.... all make up what is commonly referred to as class, imo.

edit: i meant to add that I have a totally double standard on what is acceptable behaviour for men vs. women, btw. freely admitted.
