My Barber shop does old fashioned straight blade shaves for about $30. It takes half an hour and they use about 15 hot towels, and a special cream. Anyway it's the best shave I've ever had. I shave everyday with Gillette's fusion (which I don't find much better than the MAch three - and the wear strip seems to run out in a matter of days), going to the barber shop I can get away with twice a week (the cost is the only thing keeping me from doing this for anything other than special occasions). The shave is so close, you can't even see any hint of facial hair once its done, your face literrally looks as bare as a baby's. By day two you look like you got a really close shave with your regular razor, and day three you can still get by without shaving - although not as clean. It looks like you shaved, but not so close.
