Sounds like it's time to resolder the connections in the control amp, or send it off for a rebuild. I resoldered mine and it worked great for one season, but after sitting in storage over the winter last year, it's back to the way it was before. My next move is going to be replacing the whole mess with an aftermarket unit wired into the control stick on the column. Only me and the car will know it's not OEM.
