Had they done so, they would have learned that my fiance hopes to find a teaching job locally, and raise a family locally, in the house that we will live in together as a married couple as of next month.

Sounds like you're getting married soon. Me too! The big day is the 29th for me.

Congrats and I hope your family isn't stressing you out as much as mine is.
