No, actually it is a different formulation. Meguiar's makes car care products for a large number of car manufacturers, and the formulations are all different. They also make wax and furniture polish for furniture companies and guitar companies, like Fender. Most people don't realize that Meguiar's started in out the in early 1920's as a furniture polish company, and owners of cars were using their furniture polishes to make the finish on their cars look good. Early Paint finishes were laquer.
