You're asking for trouble increasing the compression ratio on a C36. It's already high enough and the timing aggressive enough that this motor relies quite heavily on its knock sensors. When the underhood and therefore intake air temperature climbs on hot days, you will already get some ping on even the best fuel. The notion that AMG left some unlocked horsepower in this engine that's yours for a minimum amount of effort using old-time Chevy and Ford tricks is laughable. If you want a faster car, buy a faster car.
