Thanks for all the info, I believe the PO of this jeep ran it for a while. I think the fuel in the tank is just old and there might be some water in it. I don't think there is any RUG in the tank. I might just run it off a container of fuel from the engine compartment. I was not sure if there was a pump on the motor or at the tank. I'll try it and see what happens.

As for a link to converting a Wrangler to this configuration.... I looked and could not find any. I bought this jeep with the motor already in it (they just did a bad job of mounting it in the frame). The adapter to the tranny looked good tho and most of the lines seemed to be there. The only problem is the oil pan is directly over the front differential. I plan to lift the jeep to corret this issue.
