I've personally never used MB wax, but one member here who hasn't posted in a long time, Placo1, used it regularly on his 500E, and he loved it.
There is one ingredient that Mercedes likes to use in all the products Meguiars makes for them, even in their leather protectant. I think it is jojoba oil, although I'm not 100% sure.
As far as any wax being difficult to remove, it is usually due to the over application of product. You really want to apply a very thin coat of product, thinner than you're used to applying.
Remember, you want to polish or wax your paint, not wax your wax.
Also, the surface of the car should be cool. If not, the product can be difficult to remove.
