The head unit that was in my 95 E300 was OK at best. Radio station pickup was acceptable as long as I was reasonably close. Using the same antennae with a new head unit (Pioneer Premier) - I pick up radio stations much better and much farther away... however I NEVER listen to FM anymore. I installed a Sirius antennae and only listen to Satellite now
