What leaves a bad taste in my mouth is his parading the "snowflake children" (do I have that right?) in front of the cameras to show that it's a moral issue.

It would seem that we can indeed have it both ways. Let anyone who wants to adopt an embro have one. Or as many as they can carry (to term, that is). Then we can donate the extra few hundred grand of them to research.

Note that this argument is only meant to cover the moral aspect of doing the research on would-be-discarded embros. Nothing at all about federal support for that research.
