Do I support Stem Cell Research? Absolutely. How is it tied to Iraq? I don't know. Do I support the action in Iraq? Yes. As I have said, it matters not how the resources are allocated when it comes to stem cell. If we had $100 left in the budget, Bush would not give $1 to stem cell research. So the question is moot. If the war ended tomorrow and every muslim in the world were killed and we were at Condition Green and trade was at a high and we were rich, Bush would not spend $1 on stem cell research. Therefore, the question of allocation of resources is moot. If the world were to end via a meteor from space in the next month, Bush would not spend any money on stem cell research. If space aliens were to abduct him and threaten him with certain death if he didn't spend $1 on SCR, he wouldn't. I hope that is clear now.
