A or B Service is due every 10,000 to 14,000 miles.

An "A" service consists of
  • An engine oil and filter change.
  • Ensure the warning and indicator lamps, horn, windshield/headlamp wiper and washer systems, and seat belts are functioning correctly.
  • Check the tires and pressures. This includes the spare.
  • Check brake pad and disc thickness.
  • Check and top off the fluid levels.
  • Perform a battery test.
  • Run electronic engine diagnostics and reset the FSS counter.

A "B" service consists of
  • An engine oil and filter change.
  • Replace the cabin filter.
  • Replace the windshield wiper insert.
  • Check the tires, the pressures, and rotate them (non-staggered wheels).
  • Inspect and lubricate the throttle linkage.
  • Check the parking brake, steering play, headlamps, exterior lamps, warning and indicator lamps, horn, windshield/headlamp wiper and washer systems, and seat belts.
  • Check brake pad and disc thickness.
  • Check the front axle ball joints.
  • Inspect the drive belt.
  • Check and top off fluid levels.
  • Run electronic engine diagnostics and reset the FSS counter.
Prices depend on the dealership, but the A is between $200 and $300. The B is about double the price of an A.

On top of the FSS schedule:
The fuel filter service is due every 4 years or 60,000 miles.
Spark plugs are due every 5 years or 100,000 miles.
The air filter is due every 4 years or 60,000 miles.
