When my dog was put on it for a while, the vet told me it was a long term thing. Don't expect to see results immediately. Put him on it for months and took him off for a bit. No change. The only thing that worked was a glucosamine shot.

Adequan® Canine (polysulfated glycosaminoglycan), the only FDA-approved* disease modifying osteoarthritis drug (DMOAD). They actually have irridiated particles in it during testing and proved that it did settle in the joints as opposed to the oral ones that get digested and who knows how much actually gets absorbed into the joints.
