Thanks Mark and SW. The filter change idea is good. I am in the market for a Benz Diesel when I sell my Jetta TDI. I want a less expensive (but older) car that has more room. Nice to know I can use the same synthetic (Amsoil or Delvac 1) rules on the Mercedes.
