Condition is everything

Being the proud owner of two 1985 W123 wagons, and keeping a constant eye on what is out in the market, I believe that the condition of the vehicle is everything. The wording in the listing says the seller is not responsible for the statements in the listing. I guess that means he can say anything and doesn't have to stand by it.

Your best bet is to have a trusted Mercedes mechanic check it out. If you don't do your own work you could be in for a big surprise when the climate control breaks the tranny goes out. I bought one of my cars from eBay and the seller lied like a rug even after I asked him direct questions.

Dont' believe a word he says and check the car out. He is trying to get top dollar and has no service records and won't stand by his description.
