My 420SEL and 300CE Recirc mode controls
Owners manuals for these two cars (which have similar systems in many areas) say that recirc will come on automatically if outside temp is above/below certain temps and that the recirc will shut off after a period of time; roughly 30 minutes ..... each car model and era seems to be a little different ....
